A Re-Entry

I don't have a captivating story to tell this time around (a year+ departure). I'm copping out and inserting something I wrote a while ago. Maybe these were the words I owed last year. Sometimes we get preoccupied finding the right words after that there's nothing left to say and that's when we find ourselves back in a book. (I tied it back around to the picture.)

INFLUENCER

Cultivate the land, amass the flock, fuck the sheep good.

Influence is pursuant. Not one misguided herald could ever become the bearer of bad news.

Follow and receive what you believe to be delivered (according to what we want to offer).

Build the world, inbreed the oppressed, gift them their wool over the eyes.

Tyranny doesn’t make me a tyrant. I can’t help it when you say “you fuck with me”. The attention it gave was influential.

I miss the days when the world was less discovered and mystery was stronger than the reel. Here's to books that leave the rest to imagination. I'm trying to write one now as I always do. What else are cafes for. Come And Fictionalize Every Second = CAFES.
